A 46-year-old man was killed and a 52-year-old man critically injured in a shooting incident at Thambahitiya, Meetiyagoda last night.
Police said two gunmen arrived on a motorcycle and opened fire inside a restaurant, using a T56 assault rifle. The injured victim was rushed to Balapitiya Hospital for treatment.
Meetiyagoda Police are conducting further investigations into the incident. (Newswire)
