Several key positions in the Samagi Jana Balawegaya (SJB) and Samagi Jana Sandhanaya (SJB Alliance) have been reshuffled.
Opposition Leader and SJB leader Sajith Premadasa took steps to appoint new members to several prominent positions in the Samagi Jana Balawegaya.
Accordingly, former Member of Parliament Imthiaz Bakeer Markar has been appointed as the Chairman of the SJB for 2024, while former Kegalle District MP Kabir Hashim has been appointed as the General Secretary of the SJB Alliance for 2024. Additionally, former Gampaha District MP Harshana Rajakaruna has been newly appointed as the Chairman of the SJB Gampaha District.
