A Sri Lanka Air Force (SLAF) Bell 212 helicopter crashed in the Maduru Oya area today during a routine training flight.
The aircraft had departed from the Hingurakgoda Air Force Base before it encountered difficulties and went down. SLAF Spokesperson confirmed that both pilots are unharmed.
An investigation has been launched to determine the cause of the crash. (Newswire)
