Sri Lanka welcomed 174,608 tourists in April 2025, marking a 17.3% increase compared to April 2024, according to the Sri Lanka Tourism Development Authority.
India remained the top source market, contributing 38,744 visitors (22.2%), followed by the United Kingdom (17,348) and Russia (13,525). This steady growth continues Sri Lanka’s tourism recovery, with total arrivals for the first four months reaching 896,884 visitors. (Newswire)
