Sri Lanka Cricket confirmed that the ongoing Sri Lanka-New Zealand Test match will go ahead as scheduled, as Police curfew currently imposed across the island will be lifted at 06.00 am tomorrow.
The announcement comes after Police curfew was imposed earlier tonight (21), from 10.00 pm until tomorrow (22) 06.00 am.
The New Zealand Men’s National Team is currently touring Sri Lanka to play a two-match test series.
Sri Lanka’s cricketers who travelled to cast their votes have returned to Galle by this evening. (Newswire)
