A Sri Lankan man who was employed in Israel has taken his own life, according to Sri Lanka’s Ambassador to Israel Nimal Bandara.
The 35-year-old, a resident of the Kandy district reportedly took his own life due to personal reasons, Ambassador Bandara confirmed.
The man had arrived in Israel six months ago and had been employed in the agriculture sector.
Arrangements are currently underway to repatriate the body to Sri Lanka, the Ambassador said. (Newswire)
