Minister of Buddhasasana, Religious and Cultural Affairs of Sri Lanka, Prof. Hiniduma Sunil Senevi together with the Deputy Minister of National Integration of Sri Lanka, Muneer Mulaffar recently visited the holy city of Madinah as a part of their recent visit to Saudi Arabia to sign the Hajj Agreement.
The Minister also took the opportunity to explore the International Fair and Museum of the Prophet’s Biography and Islamic Civilization and gained insights into the life of the Prophet Muhammad and the development of Islamic civilization in Madinah. Additionally, the Minister visited Quba Mosque, the first mosque ever built in the history of Islam.
The Director of the Department of Muslim Religious and Cultural Affairs, M.S.M. Nawas also accompanied the Minister.
