Two cars involved in a street race on High Level Road have been seized by police after a video of the incident circulated on social media.
The footage, showing the cars recklessly racing from Galawilawatta towards Makumbura within the Homagama Police Division, was widely shared on April 13, 2025.
Following the circulation of the video, officers from the Homagama Police Station launched an investigation. The two vehicles were taken into police custody on Friday (25).
Police said statements from the drivers have been recorded, and investigations are ongoing to pursue further legal action. (NewsWire)
