The Sri Lankan Rupee has appreciated further against the US Dollar today (Aug 14), compared to Tuesday, according to the Central Bank of Sri Lanka.
Accordingly, the buying rate of the US Dollar has reduced from Rs. 295.08 to Rs. 294.54, while the selling rate has dropped from Rs. 304.27 to Rs. 303.82.
The Rupee has largely depreciated against a basket of foreign currencies, while it has appreciated against Gulf currencies. (Newswire)
