The Sri Lankan Rupee has appreciated slightly against the US Dollar today (Oct 09), compared to Tuesday, according to the Central Bank of Sri Lanka.
Accordingly, the buying rate of the US Dollar has dropped from Rs. 288.96 to Rs. 288.58.
The selling rate which had dropped below Rs. 300 last week, has further reduced from yesterday’s rate of Rs. 298.03 to Rs. 297.62.
The Sri Lankan Rupee has also appreciated against a basket of foreign currencies, including Gulf currencies. (Newswire)
