The Sri Lankan Rupee has depreciated slightly against the US Dollar today (Oct 22), compared to Monday, according to the Central Bank of Sri Lanka.
Accordingly, the buying rate of the US Dollar has increased from Rs. 288.61 to Rs. 288.65, while the selling rate has also increased from Rs. 297.60 to Rs. 297.65.
The Sri Lankan Rupee, however, has appreciated against a basket of foreign currencies, while it has depreciated against Gulf currencies. (Newswire)
