Chemmani mass graves : Child’s remains, toys, and bag unearthed in Jaffna

Archaeologists excavating the Chemmani mass graves in Jaffna have unearthed skeletal remains believed to include a child, alongside personal items such as a schoolbag, doll, toys, and clothing. To date, 33 human skeletons—24 complete—have been recovered from the site, with forensic teams working carefully to preserve intertwined bones.
