Dr. Samitha Perera officially assumed duties yesterday (4) as the new Chairman of Lanka Sathosa.
His appointment was made by Prime Minister Dr. Harini Amarasuriya.
Dr. Perera brings decades of experience in the Fast-Moving Consumer Goods (FMCG) sector, having previously served as the CEO & Director at Ceylon Biscuits Ltd. His extensive expertise in the private sector is expected to strengthen the operations of Lanka Sathosa.
