Train services have been affected due to a train derailing near the Kalutara South Railway Station.
A train plying from Maradana to Kalutara South had derailed while travelling to the Railway Yard last night.
The incident resulted in one railway track of the coastal line being completely blocked.
Even though railway employees had cleared the derailed train, one railway line remained blocked as of this morning.
As such, it is reported that all train services to the Kalutara South Railway Station have been restricted to one railway line. (Newswire)
