A tragic accident near the Pinnaduwa Interchange on the Southern Expressway early this morning (21) claimed two lives and left four others injured, police confirmed.
The incident occurred when a van traveling from Kottawa to Galle collided with a lorry traveling ahead of it.
Police stated that a 62-year-old man and another passenger succumbed to their injuries following the crash. Four others, including three women, sustained injuries and were admitted to the Karapitiya Teaching Hospital for treatment.
