A special traffic operation has been launched by the police targeting the festive season to minimize road accidents across the country.
This operation primarily focuses on long-distance bus drivers violating traffic rules and driving recklessly.
The police stated that officers in civvies are being deployed to inspect violations of bus drivers and conductors in long-distance passenger buses.

During this process, the authorities will monitor traffic violations such as reckless driving, driving while using mobile phones, overtaking at pedestrian crossings, and speeding.
Subsequently, uniformed police officers will stop these buses at designated points, inform the drivers of the observed violations, and take legal action against them.
