Kalutara South Police, aided by a sniffer dog ‘Anju’, have seized 9 grams and 200 milligrams of crystal methamphetamine (ICE) hidden in a luxury vehicle.
The discovery was made this morning following a tip-off about a suspicious vehicle parked on Gabadawa Road in Kalutara. The vehicle and a suspect were taken into custody for inspection.
Police Dog Anju from the Kalutara Police College carried out the search, leading to the detection of the drugs concealed in the rear of the vehicle.
