The Department of Meteorology has issued a weather advisory for strong winds and rough seas off the coasts extending from Matara to Pottuvil via Hambantota and from Kankasanthurai to Puttalam via Mannar.
According to the department, the weather advisory is effective until 06.00 am tomorrow (Sep 10).
The Naval and Fishing Communities have also been requested to remain vigilant in this regard. (Newswire)
