Several spells of showers are expected in the Western, Sabaragamuwa, and North-Western provinces, as well as in Kandy, Nuwara-Eliya, Galle, and Matara districts, the Department of Meteorology said.
Eastern and Uva provinces may experience showers or thundershowers at several locations during the evening or night.
Strong winds of 40-45 kmph are anticipated over the western slopes of the central hills, and in the Northern, North-Central, and North-Western provinces, along with Hambantota, Monaragala, and Trincomalee districts. (Newswire)
