The Ceylon Electricity Board (CEB) expects to reconnect the Norochcholai coal power plant to the grid by Friday (14), a spokesperson confirmed.
Until then, the ongoing power cut schedule is set to continue. However, there will be no power cuts on Wednesday due to the holiday and lower electricity demand.
A decision on power cuts for Thursday and Friday will be announced later, the official added. (NewsWire)
