We must also acknowledge Chamari for her role as captain and her dedication to this team. This win is a testament to your skills as a leader. I wish you all the very best for the future.
A special note of recognition and commendation to Harshitha for her outstanding performance during the final. You’re innings, and the way in which you have conducted yourself, goes to show your talent and commitment to Sri Lanka, and the game of cricket. I see a bright future ahead of you. Keep your head down, and stay focused on what truly matters. Nothing can compare to representing your nation.
I would also like to extend my congratulations to the coach and the support staff for being a strength to the team, especially to Romesh.
